My Experience with LINUX: Offered with the hope of helping someone experience the "Joys of LINUX" (without paying with too much frustration).

(obviously this is currently under construction; so please contribute your comments and suggestions: leave a note in my visitors log or send comments).

I am currently the happy owner of a 366mhz celleron with a 6 gig. hard disk and a dual boot installation of Win 98 and Caldera Open Linux v. 2.3. As of this date the modem that came with the machine (puchased in Oct. 99) is a "winmodem" and does not operate under LINUX. I am slowly learning how to operate the various components of the LINUX system and intend to add notes reporting my progress, frustrations, what I learn from it and what IT ALL means.
