ATR and TRS emergency supply

2.4.3 Out of supply

Option 13 (emergency HQ/ATR/TRS supply)

(revise title as per above and add the following paragraphs.)

ATR supply

Any face up ATR can perform an emergency supply mission at any time. The controlling player announces he wishes to attempt the mission, and flies the ATR (and any escorts) to the target hex, where it is subject to enemy interception. If the ATR clears through, it may supply 1 cooperating unit in that hex (note: large ATRs may supply 2 cooperating units). Supply lasts for the rest of the current impulse. If this mission is flown during a friendly impulse, it counts against air mission limits; if flown during an enemy impulse, it is a free action.

TRS supply

Any face up at sea TRS can perform an emergency supply mission at any time. The controlling player announces he wishes to perform the mission and selects any cooperating unit on a coastal hex in the same sea area as the TRS. This unit will be in supply for the rest of the current impulse.

Background/Purpose: ATRs/TRSs have the same capabilities as HQs in most areas, albeit less. This is just extending the courtesy of this issue to them.

Dave's Notes: Emergency supply via an HQ can be used for a tactical offensive to supply a few key units on a mission. ATRs and TRSs could bolster that total. Used alone, ATR or TRS supply is a desperation mission best used to try to stave off enemy slaughter of an out of supply unit.
