Ed, As I promised you here I am again with more information. Ernie joined the 
Navy in Jan of 1959. I have two dates of discharge 20 DEC 61 and 19 Feb 68. I 
have several enlisted performance Evaluations here in front of me all dated 
during the time he was on board the cpcecil. the first evaluation is dated 17 
May 64 all the way up to 16 June of 67. On the one dated 17 May 64 to 16 Nov 
64 there is a comment written at the bottom of it that seems to go along so 
well with that picture I sent you. L. M. Papio,LCDR. USN writes. TAYLOR is 
one of those sailors who seems to belong on recruiting posters. His military 
bearing and behavior leave nothing to be desired. On 14 Aug. 1965 he was 
designated as the ship's leading Gunner's Mate Missile Petty Officer. Unless 
you can think of something else you want me to add to this, I think this 
about does it. I thank you so much for being patient with me and for doing
