Comments: Dear Ed, I am Donald Walker's daughter, Sheri, and I wanted to express my thanks and appreciation for your kind tribute to him. I miss him deeply and every day I find myself wanting to shout out to the world about what a wonderful man and father he was. However, my dad was a very humble man who would always tell me, " It's not what everyone else knows, Sweetheart, it's what you know that matters." Never ever the braggart, my Dad could find that he had an exceptional talent for something, but never tell anyone how well he did it. He would just be content at knowing that he could do it well. There were times he would not keep to himself and that would be ANY time family or friends needed help of ANY kind. He never taught his children with a lecture, but instead he used kind words of encouragement, lots of wisdom, and that look that only Dad had that said, "I believe in you so you believe in you." It worked -really well- for my two brothers and myself. I am intensely proud that the man named Donald D. Walker is the man who I called "Dad". Thanks again,Ed, it's kind people like yourself who help to keep alive the memories of loved ones that are no longer with us. Sincerely, Sheri
