We were told by good sources that you may get better air fares if you stay after Saturday. We thought that we would consider scheduling an optional tour for Saturday, October 21st. We have lined up a tour to the Lawrence Welk Resorts for a luncheon and the theater performance, "A Tribute to Frank Sinatra". Sound good to you? The rate they are offering is $85.00 + Tax. They also offer a free shuttle from the Airport, which is about 9 miles from the hotel. Parking is pretty good at the hotel for rental cars. They also offer a shuttle to the Trolley cars. We have lined up some good tours that include:
A city tour with a harborside luncheon. A 2-hour harbor excursion cruise with a box lunch at the Seaport Village -- LaJolla tour(trips to-Steven Birch Aquarium--Mt Soledad and City of La Jolla,also a harborside luncheon. A Wild Animal Park Tour (with a narrated monorail around the reserve)
A Memorial Service at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery followed by a tour of the aircraft carrier Midway. All this with more to follow by the time we publish the Registration Forms. Stay tuned.
