Go Sachems Fond memories at WHS Go Sachems

Introduction

As you get older you tend to look back at memories of your high school days as places you can revisit in fruitless attempts to return to what most of us call, "the good old days", and I don't believe anyone will argue that the high school students of the 50's were truly members of a great generation.

This page serves as an index page to all our memories of the good old days at WHS. Each index will be a descriptive link to a separate page which contains a set of related memories. These memories may be snippets of text, photos, or even links to sound files.

Phyllis O'Neil and John Williams celebrate their 50th

Two additions to the Memories page were recently sent by Rob Jackson of Hampton, NH. Rob and his family lived on Lincoln Street and he attended kindergarten at the Lincoln School. Shades of 1946. The following links will get you to the photos Rob sent.

  • Lincoln School 1946 - Christmas Play
  • WHS 1928 Track Team
  • Winter Wonderland on Lincoln St. in 1941
  • 50 Lincoln Street in 1930
  • The Original Lincoln School in the 1940's
  • If any one out there can identify any children in the first photo, please send me the names and their locations in the photo. (row, L-R)
