ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Chris and I am a television meteorologist still in the employ of WMUR-TV ABC9 in Manchester, NH. Going on six years in fact! You might think I bear a striking resemblance to that "handsome" fella Chris Thomas doing weather weekday mornings and at noon? Quite perceptive as we are one in the same! Since the station thought that Jarzynka was too tough for anyone to remember, they had me take my Anglican middle name of Thomas instead. Okay, now that we have that little mystery solved...

I've definitely fallen in love with the state of New Hampshire. Last year, I did the most grown-up thing in my life by building a new house in Salem, NH. I'm about as close to Massachusetts as you can get without living there. With most of my friends and relatives still living on Boston's North Shore, it's great to be closer to them, just not too close! I grew up in Salem, MA. Confusing yet? My hobbies include music composition, computers, limited outdoor activity, and my friends not necessarily in that order! Weather and science is all well and good, but you can't live and breathe the stuff! I know some that do, but that's out of the scope of this text.

In November of 2000, tragedy struck my family as I lost my dad, Ron to cancer. It was mercifully quick, but the fading echoes of his life still reverberate today. I've created a quick tribute page if you'd like to read about his wonderful life and legacy!

And, yes ladies, there's no ring on this finger yet! Actually, at this rate, there may not be one at all! They say the longer you live alone, the more you get set in your ways. I need to get some cats. Then I can be the crazy cat guy in the neighborhood!!!
